Maida Hill Place in London

Olivaverde is very pleased to be holding one of our olive oil tasting and workshop events together with a networking evening at a great new venue, Maida Hill Place in west London in July. This will also be a chance to promote our new olive oil schools that we are setting up in the Le Marche region of Italy, Sicily and also on the Island of Malta.

The venue is in west London and close to both the popular and world famous Portobello Road Market and also the very exclusive areas of Little Venice, Maida Vale and Queens Park so it makes a perfect place to hold some of our London based events, as well as at other venues in central and east London over the summer and autumn.

Maida Hill Place was only opened less than three years ago and has already become a popular venue which is available for hire for food, music and art based events as well as becoming a well known film location and a centre for the local community in this part of west London.

The centre has a full professional audio and lighting system and is popular with musicians and artists who wish to hold concerts and shows in this very well equipped contemporary space.

We are planning several events at Maida Hill Place this summer and autumn, some will be exclusively to promote fine organic olive oils made by small artisan producers in Italy and Malta, while other events will be held to promote artisan foods and olive oils from the Sicily and possibly other central and southern regions in Italy such as Puglia.

Many of our artisan producer friends will be invited to attend the events at Maida Hill Place to promote their olive oils and we some of the oil producers from Italy will give short talks and presentations at our evening events..
